Games won't load

Read this if you are experiencing problems loading games.

Display screen

The dimensions of the display screen are vital for your playing comfort. We recommend a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. Using a resolution lower than this may cause some games to be displayed incorrectly.

Firewall

You need to be connected to the gaming server in order to play. Your firewall could be responsible for the error message "Cannot find server".

Speak to your network administrator if you are having problems loading games at a company or public facility.

Browser

Make sure you have the latest version of either;

Pop-up blocker



If you have a pop-up blocker installed, it could be that some windows (e.g. a player's profile) will be blocked. You can bypass some blockers by pressing Ctrl when clicking on a link.

If you have problems configuring your pop-up blocker, our support team would be glad to provide further assistance.

Java installation

You need Java installed on your PC to play our games.

To speed up the loading times of Java apps, you can deactivate the cache after installation (System control - JavaPlugin).


Java activation

You can activate Java in Microsoft Internet Explorer by opening the "Control panel" and clicking "Internet options", then setting the bar under the "Privacy" tab to medium.

If you are using Netscape / Mozilla, you can activate Java by opening the menu "Edit" and clicking on "Settings" and then selecting "Extended/Advanced". If you tick the box "Activate Java", you shouldn’t have any further problems.

If you are an Opera user, check under "Settings" ("File", "Default") to see whether the box "Activate Java" in the multimedia menu is activated. It might by that you have a version of Opera which does not support Java. Should this be the case, please install the latest version of Opera.

If these methods do not work (e.g. if you cannot activate the aforementioned menu options or the action has no effect), please install the SunJava plug-in.

Javascript, Cookies

You also need to activate Javascript and Cookies to play. In Internet Explorer, this is possible by setting the security level  under "Internet Options" to low or medium. If you are using Netscape as your browser, open "Options/Preferences", click "Extended/Advanced" and activate Java, Javascript and Cookies.

Flash installation

You also need Flash from Macromedia installed on your PC to play our games. You may need administrator privileges in order to install Macromedia Flash Player on your PC. Make sure you close all programs before you begin installation.
