How to play
A game can be opened by clicking the button "New Game". The player who opened the game can set the maximum skill level of the desired opponent. He/she is also free to participate in a game already opened by another player.
Cards can be moved to a target pile by dragging them using the left mouse button. If this move is not possible the card automatically moves back to the original pile. To move several cards, simply select the highest one.
You can turn over a card by clicking on it. A click on a card which is already face up moves it to a possible location (if there are several options, one is selected at random).
To the right of the game table are two buttons. When activated, the first option turns cards over automatically, while the second places cards (when possible) into the suit positions above. Both options can be toggled independently of one another.
Solitaire is played as a duel. The following rules apply:
- Both players start out the same and receive the same cards per round.
- Players can also play consecutively.
- After you finish your game, you can watch your opponent, leave the table or even start a new round.
- It is possible to invite other players, but opening private tables is not allowed.
Rules
Solitaire is a card game for two players, played as a duel. At the start of the game, seven piles of cards are already spread out. The first pile consists of one card, the second of two, etc. The rest of the cards are in the deck, with the first card turned face-up.
Cards are sorted according to the following rules:
- Cards are placed in descending order (e.g. 9s on 10s)
- Red and black suits alternate (e.g. 9 of Diamonds on 10 of Spades, followed by 8 of Clubs or Spades, etc.)
- Aces are worth 1 point, so the King is the highest card.
The seven original piles have to be reduced to four, starting with the Aces according to the suits Spades, Diamonds, Clubs and Hearts. The rest of the cards in the shoe also have to be drawn and placed. Only the uppermost card can be used, followed by the cards beneath. The cards of the deck can be called up repeatedly in rotation, but points are deducted for each round of rotation!
The object of the game is to arrange the 52 cards on four piles as quickly as possible. If the player does this, then it is said that the Patience (general term for Solitaire) “succeeds“. The game is over once all 52 cards have been placed on the target piles or the player sees no other possible move and chooses to end the game.
Points
You get 5 points for placing a card onto the table, 10 points for placing a card onto a target pile, and 10 points for turning over a card. 15 points are deducted for turning over a pile. 5 points are deducted for putting a card from a target pile back onto the table.

Bij Solitaire bevinden zich zeven neergelegde kaartenstapels op tafel. De overige kaarten liggen omgekeerd in het talon met uitzondering van de opengelegde kaart. De speler moet de zevern kaartenstapels afbouwen en op kaartenstapels neerleggen. Lukt dat, is de Patience"opgegaan".
Doel van het spel is het, de 52 kaarten binnen de voorgegeven tijd op de vier kaartenstapels neer te leggen. De speler draait de kaarten op de talon per muisklik om en legt ze neer. Alleen de bovenste kaart kan opgepakt worden. Sämtliche talonkaarten können altijd tegen puntenaftrek teruggelegd worden.
Met de linkermuisknop kan de speler de kaarten in het speelveld of direct op de doelstapels plaatsen. Op het speelveld müssen ze in aflopende rijenvolgorde, alsook in afwisselende rode en zwarte kleuren neergelegd worden. Het spel is voorbij, als alle kaarten op de doelstapels zijn gelegd of als de spelers geen Möglichkeiten om verder te spelen zien.
